LICHTEINSTELLUNGEN MERCEDES-BENZ

Light settings

In this video, our Mercedes-Benz product expert Joschka Gossel shows you how to access the light settings in your Mercedes-Benz. There you first have a few options for customizing your Mercedes-Benz. IMPORTANT: In order to use all of these settings, you must also be able to set your light switch to automatic.

“Afterglow” outside

One of the settings, for example, is the “afterglow”. The "afterglow" function is intended to illuminate the vehicle's surroundings for a short time after it has been parked. This is particularly useful when getting out of your car in the dark. Make sure the “afterglow” feature is enabled and adjust the duration in the settings to accommodate your personal preferences.

“Afterglow outside”

The “Afterglow Interior” function ensures that the vehicle interior remains illuminated after the vehicle is parked. This is particularly useful if you want to search for something in the vehicle in the dark. Check the settings to make sure this feature is enabled and adjust the duration according to your needs.

"Intelligent Light System"

Mercedes-Benz's Intelligent Light System is the key to an advanced lighting experience. It dynamically adapts to different driving situations, optimizes the light beam at higher speeds and actively illuminates curves. The Adaptive High Beam Assist Plus automatically switches between high and low beam without dazzling other drivers. The active cornering light function improves visibility in curves, and the automatic adjustment of the light color ensures a relaxed driving experience. Discover the full potential of the Intelligent Light System in our video that shows you setting tips. If this point is not displayed for you, it is probably because you have not installed a multibeam LED headlight in your vehicle.

"Environmental lighting"

The ambient lighting in your Mercedes-Benz is more than just an aesthetic function - it significantly improves your safety and comfort.
