Whether on long car journeys or for people with back problems - comfort is crucial when driving. For Mercedes-Benz vehicles with memory seats or MBUX equipment, there is an innovative function called seat kinetics that helps to improve driving comfort.

In this article we will take a closer look at seat kinetics and show you how to activate and adjust them.

1. Activation via voice control:

   • Activate voice control by saying "Hey Mercedes".
   • Then enter the command "Start seat kinetics".
   • The vehicle will now move the seat slightly up or down and the seat backs forward and backward to keep the body gently moving.
     
     

2. Manual setting via the comfort menu:

   • Go to the comfort settings in the vehicle menu.
   • Look for the option "Seat Kinetics" there.
   • Select the seat kinetics settings.
   • You can choose whether only the seat back, only the seat surface or both should be moved.
   • Additionally, you can adjust the duration of the seat kinetics between short, medium and long.
